About me

I am the creator of UB Cosmos, a children's travel book universe inspired by a lifelong love of languages, travel, art, and storytelling.

With a background in French, Italian, and mathematics, and more than 20 years of experience as a high school teacher, I have always been passionate about communicating knowledge and culture in a meaningful way.

I am Danish, born in Copenhagen and currently based in Denmark. I speak five languages: Danish, Swedish, English, French, and Italian. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in international trade and have lived in Belgium, France and Sweden. Travel continues to be a central source of inspiration for my work.

I illustrate my own books and create stories that blend fiction with real places, everyday life, and society. I am also the mother of two daughters and the grandmother of four grandchildren - a role which continues to inspire my storytelling.

Through UB Cosmos, I create children's travel stories that invite young readers to explore the world with curiosity, imagination, and cultural awareness.
